Abstract

This study presents a research-based analysis of the mutual rights and duties of spouses within the framework of Islamic teachings. In Islam, marriage (nikāḥ) is regarded as a sacred contract and a moral institution designed to promote love, mercy, and harmony between الزوجین. The Qur’ān and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasize a balanced relationship in which both husband and wife possess clearly defined rights and responsibilities.
