Peer Review Policy

Peer Review Policy

AL AASAR JOURNAL is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and scholarly quality through a rigorous and transparent peer review process. This policy ensures that all submitted manuscripts are evaluated fairly, objectively, and in a timely manner by qualified experts.

1. Type of Peer Review

The journal follows a double-blind peer review system in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process to ensure impartiality and fairness.

2. Review Process

  • Upon submission, manuscripts are initially screened by the editorial team to assess relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, and compliance with submission guidelines.

  • Manuscripts that meet the initial criteria are sent to at least two independent reviewers with subject-matter expertise.

  • Reviewers evaluate submissions based on originality, academic contribution, methodology, clarity, ethical compliance, and relevance.

  • Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommend one of the following decisions: accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or reject.

3. Reviewer Selection

Reviewers are selected based on their academic expertise, research experience, and publication record. Care is taken to avoid any conflicts of interest between reviewers and authors.

4. Confidentiality

All manuscripts, reviewer comments, and editorial communications are treated as confidential. Reviewers must not disclose or use the content of manuscripts for any purpose other than peer review.

5. Timeliness

The journal strives to complete the peer review process efficiently, typically within 4–6 weeks, to ensure prompt editorial decisions and publication.

6. Appeals and Disputes

Authors may appeal editorial decisions or request clarification by contacting the editorial office. All appeals are handled fairly, transparently, and in accordance with journal policies.

7. Ethical Standards

AL AASAR JOURNAL adheres to the ethical guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct throughout the publication process.
