Abstract

The subject of the Seerah (biography) of the Prophet ﷺ has always remained a central point of study and reflection for Seerah writers in every era. Each of them has worked according to their own intellectual capacity and scholarly depth. Among the research-based exegeses, Tibyān al-Qurʾān by Maulana Ghulam Rasool Saeedi (رحمه الله), who passed away on 26th Rabi’ al-Awwal 1434 AH (corresponding to 6th April 2016 CE), and Anwār al-Bayān by Maulana Aashiq Ilahi Bulandshahri, a migrant to Makkah, who passed away on 13th Ramadan 1422 AH, are notable. Both scholars have mentioned these events and issues of Seerah in their respective exegeses.
