Abstract

Islam serves as the primary framework for character building, a mission initiated by the Prophets and carried forward through the spiritual lineage starting from Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (R.A). The Naqshbandi Order stands out as a prominent branch of this spiritual legacy, focusing on the internal and external reformation of an individual to achieve proximity to Allah. Central to its methodology is the strict adherence to Sharia, asserting that spiritual growth is unattainable without following the Quran and Sunnah. Its core principles—including the integration of knowledge and action, sincerity (Ikhlas), and Quranic-based meditations—aim to transform followers into balanced, purposeful members of society. In an era marked by moral decay, materialism, and intolerance, the Naqshbandi teachings offer a vital solution for restoring social harmony and spiritual peace. This research explores these traditional methods to highlight their effectiveness in addressing contemporary ethical and social crises, emphasizing the role of Sufi saints as ambassadors of peace, humility, and selfless service.
