Character building is a fundamental objective of education, as it shapes students into morally responsible, socially conscious, and intellectually balanced individuals. In this regard, parents and teachers play a pivotal and complementary role in nurturing the ethical, emotional, and behavioral development of students. This analytical study examines the shared responsibilities of parents and teachers in character formation, highlighting their influence on students’ values, attitudes, and conduct. The study explores how parental upbringing provides the foundational moral framework, while teachers reinforce and refine these values through formal education, discipline, and role modeling. It further analyzes the challenges faced in contemporary society, including moral decline, excessive exposure to digital media, and weakened parent-teacher collaboration. The research emphasizes that effective coordination between parents and educators is essential for fostering integrity, self-discipline, respect, and social responsibility among students. The study concludes that a holistic and collaborative approach, grounded in ethical principles and mutual understanding, is indispensable for sustainable character development in students.
