This research paper explores the revival of rural economies through the practical application of Islamic economic principles. Rural communities often face challenges such as poverty, unemployment, lack of access to credit, and exploitation by intermediaries, which hinder sustainable development. Islamic economic principles, rooted in justice, equity, and social welfare, provide a framework to address these issues effectively. This study analyzes key principles such as prohibition of interest (Riba), promotion of profit-and-loss sharing (Mudarabah and Musharakah), zakat-based redistribution, ethical trade practices, and community-oriented microfinance. Through a combination of theoretical analysis and case studies, the research demonstrates how these principles can enhance productivity, ensure fair income distribution, and empower rural populations. The findings suggest that integrating Islamic economic mechanisms within rural development programs can lead to sustainable economic growth, reduce inequality, and foster social cohesion. Moreover, the paper highlights policy recommendations for governments and non-governmental organizations to implement Shariah-compliant financial instruments, cooperative models, and educational programs tailored to rural settings. Ultimately, this study underscores the potential of Islamic economics as a pragmatic tool for revitalizing rural economies while maintaining ethical and social values.
