The teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, as documented in Sahih Muslim, provide a comprehensive framework for ethical conduct, justice, and social harmony. This article explores the dimensions of social ethics and the principle of justice within Sahih Muslim, emphasizing how the Prophet ﷺ guided his companions in everyday interactions, conflict resolution, and community building. By analyzing selected hadiths, the study illustrates the practical application of these teachings in personal, familial, and societal contexts. It highlights the balance between individual rights and communal responsibilities, demonstrating how Islamic ethical principles are interwoven with legal, moral, and social norms. Special attention is given to the Prophet’s ﷺ methods of promoting fairness, empathy, and integrity, which serve as models for contemporary challenges in social behavior and governance. The research employs a descriptive-analytical methodology, drawing upon classical commentaries and modern scholarly interpretations to provide a nuanced understanding of the moral imperatives presented in Sahih Muslim. The study concludes that the Prophet’s ﷺ guidance offers enduring lessons for cultivating justice and ethical awareness in modern societies, underscoring the relevance of prophetic traditions in shaping moral consciousness and social cohesion.
