EXPERIMENT OF ANTI-GHAZAL IN URDU

Abstract

In Urdu poetry, "Anti Ghazal" is actually the result of the feeling and perspective that wants to see Ghazal different from conventional system in terms of aesthetics and technical aspects, so it was not an easy task to break this stable tradition and form of Ghazal. So, after independence, a few young poets felt that the meaning of the Ghazal was confined to the atmosphere and the non-expression required a new style, and this reaction, although it was not serious, was so intense that these young people started introducing "Anti-Ghazal" which created a form of mockery.
