Abstract

 This research article reiterates the importance of criticism in Urdu literature. The field of criticism in Urdu literature is very strong. Critical thoughts in Urdu are very broad. Various aspects of criticism have helped a lot in understanding Urdu literature. From a critical point of view, the reader's mind develops the ability to understand the literary work. Criticism has also had a special relationship with history and society. A critic studies a work in depth to know its merits. He tries to understand its various aspects.
