Mutual Rights and Equality of Spouses in the Modern Era: A Research and Analytical Study in the Light of the Seerah of the Prophet (PBUH)

Abstract

The mutual rights and equality of spouses in the modern era, in the light of the Seerat Tayyaba, is an important topic in which the principles of the married life of the Prophet ﷺ have been analyzed in a modern social context. The principles of love, respect, justice and equality between spouses have been clearly stated in the Seerat Tayyaba, by following which lasting and happy relationships can be established in families. The aim of this research is to highlight the concepts of rights and equality of spouses in the light of the Seerat Tayyaba  in view of the challenges of the modern era and to see how these principles can be applied even in the present time. In this analytical study, keeping in mind the importance of these principles, social, psychological, emotional and legal aspects will be highlighted so that the solutions to the marital problems that are emerging in today's era can be derived from the teachings of the Seerat Tayyaba.
