Abstract

The relationship between literature and life is deeply interconnected, reflecting both individual emotions and social consciousness. In the 21st century, globalization and technological advancements pose new challenges, particularly in preserving ethical values and cultural identity. The increasing influence of English is diminishing the purity of the Urdu language, making its revival crucial for national identity. Despite decades of independence, Pakistan remains culturally influenced by colonial remnants. The Muslim world’s moral and spiritual decline is evident, emphasizing the need for ethical and ideological revival. Allama Iqbal’s concept of Mard-e-Momin advocates self-reliance and resistance against oppressive ideologies to shape a prosperous future. Western education has distanced youth from their heritage, leading to moral deterioration. Akbar Allahabadi’s poetry predicted these societal shifts, critiquing the erosion of traditional values. To address these challenges, it is essential to promote Urdu, preserve moral values, and align education with cultural identity rather than foreign influences. Only through these measures can the nation secure its cultural and intellectual future.
