Abstract

Poetry is a literary art form of great significance, a potent medium for revealing complex human emotions, preserving cultural traditions. Fostering empathy and improving language comprehension. Poetry enables poets to capture the true essence of ideas, experiences and feelings in a way that profoundly resonates with the leaders. The present research “The status of poetry in Islam" delineates the importance of poetry in Islamic Traditions. Poetry is an important medium in Islam for expressing faith, spiritual experiences and devotion, Quran itself is considered to be the pinnacle of aesthetic and poetic beauty and serves as the guiding principles for Islamic religious poetry. The present research is qualitative in nature."
