Abstract

The current study “The Efficacy of ChatGPT Generated Content on the Academic Writing of Undergraduate Students” aims to examine how undergraduate students’ academic writing abilities are affected by content created with ChatGPT. The current study is qualitative in nature and exploits the qualitative research methods for data collection and analysis. This study aims to investigate the effects of ChatGPT-generated content on students’ writing quality, coherence, organization, and research skills. The effectiveness of ChatGPT-generated content on academic writing will be evaluated using thematic analysis. Open-ended Questionnaires were used as data collection tool. The results of the study showed that, when applied correctly, ChatGPT can be a useful tool in the context of academic writing. It is essential to advise students to utilize ChatGPT as an additional tool rather than as a substitute for their own creative abilities in order to optimize its advantages.
