This research paper presents a comprehensive analysis of women's education and upbringing in light of the Holy Quran, with special emphasis on their inherent right to ownership (particularly regarding education). The study explores the Quranic perspective on the various stages of women's educational and moral development while establishing the intrinsic connection between education and property rights in Islam. Through a meticulous examination of Quranic verses, Prophetic traditions (Sunnah), and classical Islamic scholarship, the paper delineates the progressive stages of female education from childhood to adulthood. It simultaneously investigates how Islamic teachings safeguard women's property rights, particularly focusing on education as both a fundamental right and a form of intellectual ownership. The research employs both textual analysis and historical-contextual methods to:Systematize the Quranic framework for women's educational development. Analyze the concept of ownership rights in education from an Islamic perspective. Examine contemporary social applications of these principles in Muslim societies. Key findings demonstrate that the Quran establishes education as an inalienable right for women while simultaneously reinforcing their economic autonomy through property rights. The study reveals how these dual rights work synergistically to empower women in Islamic society, contrasting this holistic approach with modern educational paradigms. This interdisciplinary study contributes to ongoing academic discussions by:
- Providing a structured Quranic methodology for women's education
- Reinterpreting property rights to include intellectual ownership in education
- Offering practical recommendations for implementing these principles in contemporary Muslim communities
The paper concludes by addressing current challenges in Muslim societies regarding female education and property rights, proposing solutions grounded in authentic Islamic teachings while responding to modern educational needs.
