This study examines the similes constructed with particles in Sahih al-Bukhari, focusing on their nature, usage, and various patterns. It is observed that particle-based similes appear in multiple forms, including sensory, metaphorical, and composite similes, where the particles serve to clarify the relationship between the two elements of the comparison and to deepen the conceptual understanding in the mind of the recipient. The Prophetic style demonstrates precision in the choice of words and particles, aligning with the nature of the message and the audience, reflecting the harmony between rhetoric and the intended instructive or ethical effect of the text.Analysis indicates that variations in the wording of narrations do not alter the essence of the meaning but rather highlight diversity of expression and flexibility of style, enhancing clarity and impact. Furthermore, similes with particles contribute to the conceptual understanding of theological principles and make moral values and recommended behaviors more comprehensible, reflecting the strong connection between rhetoric and the Prophetic style. The findings reveal that similes with particles in the Prophetic style are distinguished by precision in selecting both particles and the elements of comparison and by their ability to exert cognitive and psychological influence on the listener, thereby facilitating a clearer comprehension of meaning and reinforcing rhetorical effectiveness.
