This research article examines the compatibility between Islamic dietary standards and the principles of modern medicine and nutritional science. Islamic dietary laws, derived primarily from the Qur’an and Sunnah, emphasize the consumption of halal, pure, and wholesome foods while prohibiting haram substances such as pork, intoxicants, and blood. These guidelines not only serve a spiritual purpose but also align with contemporary health recommendations promoting balanced nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention. The study explores key Islamic dietary concepts such as moderation, cleanliness, and the avoidance of harmful substances, and evaluates them in light of current scientific findings on nutrition, metabolism, and food safety. Through a comparative analysis, the research highlights areas of harmony, including the role of halal meat processing in reducing contamination risks, the health benefits of prohibited items’ avoidance, and the emphasis on natural and unprocessed foods. The findings suggest that Islamic dietary standards offer a comprehensive framework that complements modern nutritional science, promoting both physical well-being and spiritual integrity.
