“Naseem Hijazi” as a historical novelist is very popular in Urdu literature. In his novels, he highlighted every era of Muslim history and portrayed its various characters. While he glorified the positive figures, he also unveiled the conspiracies, sabotage, and hypocrisy of negative ones—those who stabbed the Muslim Ummah in the back and pushed them toward defeat at the hands of outsiders. Such figures can rightly be called “traitors”. The mention of these Muslim traitors is found in Naseem Hijazi’s novels “Muazzam Ali” and “Tipu Sultan”, where he narrates how they forced the rulers of India to kneel before the British. Ultimately, because of their conspiracies, Muslim rule came to an end. Among these traitors, the names of Mir Jafar, Mir Sadiq, Mir Miran, and Ali Vardi Khan are particularly notable.
