The War of Independence of 1857 transformed the individual of the subcontinent. After this war, the individual has been surrounded by problems in every respect. In Amrao Jan Ada, Maraza Hadi Raswa has discussed the changing characteristics of the individual in the post-war situation. The internal and external problems of the individual have been examined, and an attempt has been made to portray a comprehensive concept of this era in this novel. The individual of this era was struggling with problems such as moral degradation, uprooting of traditions and violation of values. This article has examined the political, social and societal problems of the individual.
