Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi preferred love, beauty, natural landscapes, rural nature, the cruelty and reality of rural society, man and his actions, efforts and humanity, etc. as topics in his poetry. Like other poets, Nadeem started his poetic life with romantic poetry. Along with this, at the beginning of his poetic life, he made beauty, love, and the nature of life the themes of his poetry; which is visible in the poems of his poetry collection "Rim Jhim". In these poems, he combined poetry and fiction and laid the foundation of a new milestone. Along with this, the color of a particular region is seen in these poems, which is Nadeem's birthplace, Punjab. These poems are a mirror of Nadeem's poetic personality.
Qasmi presented these topics in more depth and detail in his next poetry collection "Jalal-o-Jamal". In the same book, in addition to the above subjects, he presented the daily life of the village.
