District Narowal holds great historical significance. With the establishment of the” Kartarpur” Corridor and the presence of an important Sikh religious shrine, district Narowal has gained a prominent position across the world. The literary history of district Narowal is also very rich; many writers, poets, and scholars have lived here who, through their art, have always brought honor to this region. Whether we mention Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Sarwar Arman, or in the world of fiction, Hafiz Suhail Anjum.
Hafiz Suhail Anjum is a shining star in the literary world who could not receive the recognition he truly deserved. The purpose of this article is to present a research-based review of Hafiz Suhail Anjum’s short stories and to show that a fiction writer belonging to a small region can also possess profound ideas and contribute meaningfully to Urdu literature. A scholarly analysis will be carried out on the short story books “Sar-e-Bazaar”, “Faaslay”, “Wajah Ki Talash”, and” Be-Dahani “by Hafiz Suhail Anjum.
