THE 21ST CENTURY SCENARIO AND IQBAL’S THOUGHTS: A CRITICAL REVIEW

Abstract

            In the 21^st Century, the world is undergoing rapid social, cultural, political and environmental changes. In this global scenario, the thoughts of the poet of the East, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Emerge as a living reality. This research article presents a critical examination of Iqbal’s fundamental concepts such as selfhood, nations, spiritual ethics, the position of women, criticism of western civilization, environmental consciousness and interfaith dialogue. The analysis illustrates how Iqbal’s thought provides insightful solutions to the challenges of the 21^st century. The article proves that in this era of materialism, social chaos and civilizational clash, Iqbal’s teachings have the potential to give humanity new energy, purpose, and spiritual resilience. Iqbal’s message continues to be a beacon of global awareness, solidarity, and intellectual revolution.
