Abstract

Allama Muhammad Iqbal is our national poet. He used poetry to awaken people from the slumber of ignorance. He also used poetry to reform society. His poetry is interpretation of Quran. He taught people the lesson of oneness of God. He also taught the lesson of love and devotion to the Holly Prophet (PBUH) as well as the lesson of living life according to the teaching of Holly Prophet (PBUH). Iqbal s Urdu and Persian poetry, as well as his prose have emphasis the fact that the Holly Prophet (PBUH) is the last Prophet of Allah and no Prophet will come after Him.
