Abstract

This research paper presents an analytical and critical review of scholarly investigations into the remains and evidences of ancient civilizations. The study highlights the significance of archaeological discoveries in understanding the social, cultural, economic, and religious evolution of human history. However, many past researches were influenced by colonial perspectives, scientific limitations, and cultural biases, which often distorted historical interpretations. This paper identifies these shortcomings and proposes a balanced and ethical framework for future research. The proposed plan emphasizes international collaboration, inclusion of local scholars, application of modern scientific technologies, and adherence to academic integrity. In doing so, the study not only re-evaluates earlier academic approaches but also provides a constructive direction for future research in archaeology and historical studies.
