ROLE OF THE PIONEERS OF URDU LITERATURE IN THE DISSEMINATION AND PROMOTION OF URDU LANGUAGE

Abstract

Literature Literati have played pivotal role in the systematic, meaningful and disciplined progress of a society. This article reflects the phenomenon that whatever our poets and literati have expressed they have contributed it in the light of their traditional civilization and culture. The Quaid’s motto that, “We are a nation. We have own culture, language and literature. We are proud of our own architecture.” It all is a matter of pride for us. We are indebted to our national literati. Among them, the glorious literary services of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Maulana Zafar Ali Khan, Khushi Muhammad Nazer and Professor Ghazi Ilm-ud-Din deserve special mention with reference to the promotion of Urdu language.
