This research study investigates the narrations of Imam Yahyaa bin Saeed al-Qattan from mudalliseen (narrators known for tadlees) transmitted through the method of 'an'anah (a transmission technique where narrators use vague terms like "from" instead of explicitly stating direct hearing). Imam Yahyaa bin Saeed al-qattan is widely regarded as one of the most prominent early Islamic scholars of Hadith, known for his rigorous criticism of narrators and commitment to maintaining the integrity of Hadith transmission. The study specifically examines how Yahyaa bin Saeed al-Qattan addressed narrations originating from mudalliseen and conveyed using 'an'anah, which often raises concerns regarding the reliability and authenticity of such transmissions due to potential ambiguity in the chain of narrators. This research aims to provide a deeper understanding of Yahyaa bin Saeed al-Qattan 's approach to the science of Hadith criticism, focusing on the reliability of mudalliseen and the specific conditions under which their narrations were accepted or rejected. It also sheds light on how the use of 'an'anah affects the evaluation of the chain of transmission and its authenticity.
