The concept of peace and security in the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the rejection of contemporary extremism is a crucial research topic that requires profound contemplation within the context of Islamic history, jurisprudence, and modern socio-political dynamics. This paper highlights the true meaning of peace and its practical manifestations in the light of the Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ, particularly when examining his teachings in the context of contemporary extremism. The concept of peace in Islamic teachings is not merely restricted to the absence of war or tranquility, but rather encompasses a comprehensive system that invites a balanced approach in the individual, social, economic, and international spheres of life.In this research, we provide a detailed exploration of key events from the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, such as the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, the establishment of the Medina state, and the Prophet's fair treatment towards non-believers. These examples are used to demonstrate that the Prophet ﷺ presented peace not only as a political or military strategy but also as a moral, spiritual, and social responsibility. Furthermore, the paper examines the growing wave of extremism in the modern world and the misconceptions associated with Islam, showing that extremist behaviors are in direct contradiction to the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ.This paper combines Islamic traditions and modern social sciences to offer a balanced and intellectual roadmap for combating extremism, rooted in the principles outlined in the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It aims to provide a new understanding that presents the true message of peace and love in Islam to the world.
