Abstract

The second source of Islamic rulings is Hadith which is the name of the words and actions of the last leader and guide for the human race, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and his choice. In fact, the first source of Islamic rulings, namely the interpretation and explanation of the wise Quran, which determines the origin and meaning of the divine word and according to it, it becomes easy to put daily life into the molds of the divine rulings. The importance of Hadith is clear to every conscious and knowledgeable person. The Arabs, who were not only familiar with the language of the Quran, but also their mother tongue was Arabic and were proud of their linguistic knowledge and eloquence and being able to speak, and they called other nations other than themselves as uneducated. They also used to come to the court of the Prophet at many places to object to their failure to determine the objectives and demands of the Quran, and when they heard the determination of the origin of God through the language of the Prophet, their hearts and minds would find peace. The capital of the religion of the Muslim Ummah and the total enjoyment of their Sharia is the life of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The sayings and deeds of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his daily routines are the source of guidance for them. The Companions memorized every page of the life of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), from his travels and public appearances and from his private situations to general political affairs. There is no incident in the life of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) but the Companions memorized it. They would mention the Hadith of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and preserved them from their chests to their books. After them, the Tabi'een and their followers continued this process of memorizing and writing until the compilation of the blessed Hadith began after the second century AH. Abū Bākr Muhammad bin Abī Shaŷbah and Imām Abū Hanīfa Nu'mān bin Thabit are among the chosen people of the Muslim Ummah whom it is natural to love. Allah Almighty made these gentlemen the focus of love in every respect. This article discusses the understanding and principles of the acceptance and transmission of hadith of these two personalities.
