Abstract

Depriving a person of his freedom of movement and disposition for a specified period in such a way that he cannot go out and is confined in one place is called imprisonment, but not necessarily in jail, in another place. may also be confined so as to deprive him of liberty. The main reasons for imprisonment include committing a crime, violating social rules, or confining enemies. The purpose of imprisonment is to reform the individual, protect society from harm, and establish justice. Imprisonment is a means of delivering justice through a legal process that delivers justice to the victim. Imprisonment is to prevent other people from committing crimes. Imprisonment helps to establish order and rule of law in the society. Imprisonment is to ensure compliance with laws and make criminals face the consequences of their actions. At the same time, it is intended to rehabilitate the prisoners socially and economically and make them useful citizens again. to activate. This person is to be prevented from going to his religious and social professions and activities. Now this work can be done by keeping it anywhere, whether it is kept in the house or in the mosque or by tying it to a tree and making it inactive. So it will also be called imprisonment.
