Abstract

"−Aor Talwar Toot Gayi" is a famous novel by Naseem Hijazi, which was created under the influence of the personality of Shaheed Tipu Sultan and he was made the subject of this novel. The conquests of "Sher-e-Maisoor" were not limited to the battlefields only, but he was at the same time a ruler, a scholar, a thinker, and a reformer whose heart and mind encompassed the past glories of Indian Islam, the present excitement, and the aspirations of the future. Most of the characters in this novel are Mujahideen who appear before us in the guise of a great military leader and this is why the wars of Mysore became an important part of this story.
