Abstract

In the most recent few centuries, there has been a significant rise in the prevalence of secularism all across the world. The goal of every religion is to construct its own civilization according to the teachings and customs of its own religion. The aim of this research is to focus on major events, institutions, and socio-political changes in Multan's Muslim-Christian history, also, to assess Multan's interfaith dynamics and religious harmony efforts. This research was conducted using a qualitative methodology. In order to collect pertinent information from historical records, academic articles, books, and reports, the research is based on secondary sources and follows a methodical literature search strategy. In order to determine the most important topics that were present in the literature, thematic analysis was utilized. These obstacles include socio-economic inequities, legal limits, and deeply ingrained prejudices. The fact that these projects are always evolving highlights how important it is for community leaders, governments, and groups representing civil society to maintain a consistent level of partnership. In order to protect the rights of all religious communities, discriminatory laws need to be reformed and their enforcement needs to be made more equitable. Encourage grassroots interfaith discussion and community-based peace initiatives, particularly in regions that are prone to sectarian conflicts, and increase support for these projects.
