Abstract

Syed  Ehtesham Hussain holds the most prominent position in Urdu literature due to his omnipresent personality. He was a neutral critic, linguist, fiction writer, dramatist, historian and highly qualified researcher, but as a critic he got more fame, he described Urdu criticism for the first time philosophical mind, social insight and clear style and linked it with the wisdom of the world and gave a new vision and scholarly dignity.
