Abstract

Feminist literature is a literary trend that centers around the experiences, emotions, and inner world of women. It emerged as a resistance movement against the patriarchal narrative, highlighting themes of women's identity, language, and freedom. This literature not only emphasizes gender expression but also reflects the psychological, cultural, and social aspects of women's experiences. During the Constitutional Revolution in Iran, the feminist movement gained significant importance, and the struggle for women's education, social inclusion, and rights to freedom had an impact on the literary field as well. In this context, the poetry of Forough Farrokhzad stands as a milestone, as she was the first to present feminist literature in a unique and rebellious tone. This paper sheds light on the concept of feminist literature, its development in Iran, and particularly the significance of Forough Farrokhzad's poetry. Feminist literature is not merely a gendered expression but a creative movement that has provided literature with a new perspective, where women's language, experiences, and resistance are given literary form.
