Ibn Insha has a unique identity in the field of travelogues. His unique and modern style and rhythm and interesting and quirky style of narration introduce travelogues to a new dimension. The reflection of humor and satire in the travelogue is also seen in various travelogues before Ibn Insha.
Ibn Insha's first travelogue is "Chalty ho to Cheen ko Chaliye".
This is a valuable asset of Urdu travelogues. This is Ibn Insha's very famous and popular travelogue of China which has a unique identity in the world of Urdu literature. This is that elegant travelogue from which a new chapter of humorous travelogue opens. This is a unique travelogue which has the flavor of humor in all its topics and there is also a light wave of subtle humor which also moves the heart of the reader. In fact, Ibn Insha got the opportunity to travel to China with a delegation of Pakistani writers in April 1966 for the purpose of cultural exchange. His stay there lasted 25 days. His observations and impressions from those days first became part of the Jang daily as columns. Later, a collection of these travel columns was published in 1967 under the title "Chalty ho to Cheen ko Chaliye".
