Comparison of the poetry of Allama Iqbal and Faiz Ahmed Faiz

Allama Iqbal and Faiz Ahmed Faiz were influential Urdu poets from Sialkot with distinct themes in their poetry. Iqbal focused on philosophy, selfhood, and Islamic revival, aiming to awaken and empower the Muslim community. In contrast, Faiz emphasized social justice, love, and resistance against oppression, using poetry as a tool for political and social awareness. Both poets reflected the challenges of their times but approached them from different ideological perspectives.
