Abstract

This research provides a comprehensive historical and spiritual overview of the Qadiriya Salamiya Bashiriya Sufi lineage, centered in Pir Sabaq, Nowshera. The study traces the authentic spiritual chain (Silsila) back to the supreme master, Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani, highlighting the transmission of spiritual authority through prominent figures such as Sheikh Shah Daula, Sheikh Ahmad al-Multani, and Sheikh Muhammad Shoaib. The core of the study focuses on the 20th-century revival led by Hazrat Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Salam (Pir Sabaq Baba Ji) and his successor, Sheikh Bashir Ahmad al-Madani. By examining their biographies and teaching methodologies, the article demonstrates the order's commitment to the Prophetic Sunnah and its significant role in the moral and spiritual reformation of society in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region.
