This study examines the historical, moral, and intellectual role of women and children in the Event of Karbala, highlighting their resilience, patience, and transformative leadership in preserving and conveying the message of Islam. It explores how figures such as Zaynab bint Ali and Ali ibn Husayn Zayn al-Abidin played a decisive role after the martyrdom of Husayn ibn Ali by articulating the ethical and spiritual dimensions of the tragedy. The research analyzes their sermons, endurance, and moral resistance as a powerful continuation of the Karbala movement, demonstrating that the struggle was not only military but also intellectual and reformative. By situating their contributions within broader Islamic ethical thought, the study argues that the presence of women and children transformed Karbala into a lasting paradigm of moral courage, social awareness, and principled resistance against tyranny.
