The history of Islamic scholarship demonstrates that Muslim women, particularly the female Companions (Sahabiyat), played a vital role in the preservation and transmission of the Prophetic Sunnah. From the Prophetic era to the period of Hadith compilation, they transmitted knowledge with exceptional accuracy, strong memory, juristic insight, and integrity. Scholars of Jarh wa Ta‘dil have consistently acknowledged the reliability of female narrators, and classical critics such as Imam al-Dhahabi noted the absence of proven fabrication accusations against female Hadith transmitters, which reflects their established integrity (‘adalah) and trustworthiness (thiqqah). This study focuses on the female Companions whose narrations are included in Al-Sahihayn (Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim), the most authentic Hadith collections in the Sunni tradition. It presents an analytical study of twenty-five female Companions, examining the number of their narrations along with concise biographical profiles. The study highlights their significant scholarly contribution to the preservation and transmission of Islamic knowledge.
