An Analytical Study of the Educational Principles Mentioned in Surah Luqman

Abstract

This study analyzes Surah Luqman's moral and educational lessons. In this Surah, the Quran discusses child raising, parental guidance, ethical principles, societal duties, and spiritual consciousness. Surah Luqman provides detailed instructions for raising moral, social, and spiritually balanced children. The study focuses on parental guidance, Allah memory, gratitude, character formation, and social obligations. The study shows that wise, patient, and loving parents help children internalize ethical and spiritual values. This study analyzes chosen Surah Luqman passages qualitatively to emphasize their importance for parenting and child development. The study examines Quranic verses in light of current educational difficulties and social dynamics to show how they apply to modern child-rearing. Luqman 12–19 was a key verse. It emphasizes gratitude to Allah, prayer, morality, and social ethics. The study also incorporates contemporary Islamic educators and scholars' interpretations to validate Quranic practice. The findings show that Surah Luqman's knowledge, moral advice, social duty, and spiritual education can dramatically affect children's growth.
