Mr. Ghulam Ahmad Pervaiz, when alive, took everything as conjecture except the text of The Holy Quran. Therefore, he always and everywhere claimed that the Holy Book of Allah remained the sole and solid proof of ISLAM. He also affirmed that everything, other than the revealed book of ALLAH, cannot be an evidence and proof of ISLAM. The fact is that all of Conjectures (ZANN IN ARABIC ظنّ ) are not the chips of the same block. There are some conjectures or suspicions (Zann ظنّ), which are sins, while some other are inevitable to be adopted, as explained by The Holy Quran- “O you, who have believed, avoid much suspicions, for some suspicions are sins" (49:12) Syed Abul Alaa Maududi ؒ, explained this verse, very vividly, analyzing all kinds of conjectures and suspicions, and even further elucidating the moral position of each one. Our judges, in the courts, are definitely not the eye witness of every case, filed in the courts, to attain justice. After all, they have of to decide on the basis of the statements of suitors, their opponents, and the witnesses. The judges formulate their decisions on information, placed before them, and give their decisions on the basis of most probable conjecture, and absolutely not on certainty. Likewise, in most cases, when one or the other decision has to be taken, and the knowledge of reality cannot possibly be attained, there is no way out for the people, but to form an opinion on the basis of a probable conjecture. At the end this dissertation, two drastic and profound arguments have been given in favor of conjecture, on the basis which, decision has been formed, and this decision was practically accepted and was implemented. It amounts almost the sure knowledge, the decision on the basis of which, can never be rejected which, can never be rejected.
