Abstract

            Literature, especially poetry is one of the best way to soothe  someone’s unsatisfied desires through the process of sublimation,when they do not find a proper way of satisfaction،they find a deviated way for expression ,mostly in the form of art and literature. The various elements present in the society leave such persons tantalized with respect to their such desires as they can not be directly satisfied .The art and  literature  soothe their tantalization through sublimation. This article bounds some of the dimensions of sublimation present in Mir's selective poetry in perspective of Tantalization.
