The Quran employs a distinct evaluative framework to identify statements and actions that are considered acceptable or unacceptable within the ethical system. This article undertakes a conceptual analysis of Quranic expressions that indicate divine preference and disapproval, with particular focus on their implications for human conduct. Rather than offering an exhaustive exegetical survey, the study adopts a thematic and analytical approach to examine selected Quranic verses that articulate ethical norms through implicit value judgments. The research explores how these evaluative patterns contribute to the formation of moral consciousness and guide individual and collective behavior. Furthermore, the study situates these Quranic principles within a contemporary context, highlighting their relevance to modern ethical challenges such as social responsibility, justice, moderation and moral accountability. By linking classical Quranic concepts with present-day applications, the article demonstrates the continuing normative significance of the Quran in shaping ethical discourse. The findings suggest that the Quranic classification of statements and actions provides a coherent moral framework capable of addressing contemporary social and ethical concerns.
