Abstract

Sufism revolves around the human soul. It exhorts people to embrace virtue and avoid evil. Spiritual conquest plays a more important role than the mere physical existence of humanity, and Sufism is deeply rooted in Islamic teachings. Original and moderate Sufism fulfills one of the great achievements of the Holy Prophet and presents a strong system that emphasizes the purification of humanity, the purity of heart and soul. The core of the teachings of Sufis is the concept of Ihsan as described in the Hadith of Gabriel, which describes the worship of God and the excellence of the human mind. Sufis have significantly shaped the spread of Islam and its harmony with other religions. Hazrat Ali bin Uthman Hajveri, Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Ganj Shakar, Hazrat Shahabuddin Suhrawardy and other such prominent figures presented Sufism in a good light in interfaith harmony. Their teachings opposed extremism and focused on humanity rather than division. Therefore, the practical teachings of the Sufis have played an important role in building and purifying society, reforming, welfare and providing human rights.Human rights refer to those matters, powers or objects that a person can claim or demand to obtain, and the special thing about it is that rights are not self-created by a person, but are granted or determined by an authority, and that authority can also be the law of the country. It can also be the law of nature, it can also be the traditions of a nation or region, but in Islam, the authority to determine rights is vested in the Sharia. There are many types of Islamic rights, among which prominent fundamental rights have been mentioned. These include the right to personal freedom, the right to religious freedom, the right to equality, which includes legal equality, economic and social equality. This article attempts to establish interfaith harmony and understand the reality of Sufism through the teachings of the Sufis. It clarifies the teachings on the fundamental rights of humans. It highlights the efforts of the Sufis, and particularly their teachings on interfaith harmony.
