Abstract

This research paper presents a comparative study of the Prophetic system of leadership and consultation (PBUH) with contemporary democratic structures. The study aims to analyze the principles and practices of the Prophetic system, highlighting its unique features and strengths, and comparing them with modern democratic systems. The paper examines the Prophetic emphasis on consultation (Shura), justice, and accountability, and how these principles were implemented in the early Islamic community. It also discusses the strengths and weaknesses of contemporary democratic systems, including the importance of representation, accountability, and the protection of individual rights. The study concludes that the Prophetic system of leadership and consultation provides valuable insights for contemporary democratic systems, emphasizing the importance of justice, accountability, and the protection of human rights.
