The media plays an essential role in keeping people informed about changes in society, but its most important responsibility is to support and strengthen the democratic process. This study explores how print media contributes to electoral reforms during general elections. It looks at how newspapers shape public understanding of elections, influence voter awareness, and whether they maintain a neutral stance in their reporting. Using interviews with journalists and a survey of young university students, the study examines how print media affects people’s views and participation in elections. The findings show that print media generally maintains impartiality, helps readers understand their electoral rights, and encourages greater public involvement in the electoral process. The study also highlights how print media brings important issues to light, including irregularities and weaknesses in the electoral system, which creates pressure for improvements. Overall, this research emphasizes the meaningful role print media plays in guiding the public, supporting transparency, and helping strengthen democratic values.
