Abstract

The University of Okara’s publications include various books of Musnad Seerat-e-Rahmatul-Lil-Aalamin (peace be upon him) that shed light on the biography of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and aspects of his social role. These publications not only bring out historical facts but also explain the moral, educational and social aspects in the context of the sociology of the biography.A review of the publications revealed that: The social reforms of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), the principles of justice and fairness, and brotherhood have been effectively explained. An attempt has been made to provide moral training and practical guidance to the youth and students through the biography. The books present various historical events with an insight into the social context and human relations so that the reader can gain practical lessons from the biography.
