Abstract

The study establishes that al-Zarqani's approach is aligned with the principles of traditional scholars of hadith and jurisprudence. The article highlights several key methods used by al-Zarqani, including: gathering a comprehensive collection of scholarly opinions and narrations, citing variant narrations to clarify discrepancies, using the Quran as the primary evidence (Istishhad bil-Quran), providing jurisprudential reconciliation of differing legal opinions, and connecting the context of a hadith with the Quran.
