The Comparative Study of Judaism, Christianity and Islam in the Light of the Intolerant Tendencies of the Future

Abstract

Many scholars have made tremendous contributions towards the comparative study of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam so far. However, a range of diversified dimensions are still to be explored regarding this field of Islamic Studies, highlighting its vast nature of research. Likewise, the comparative study of these three religions in light of intolerant tendencies towards each other under the present and future scenarios bears weighty significance to this area of study. In particular, unveiling these contemporary settings together with the traditional historical backdrop, the gradual evolution of the respective three religions, the comparison of the societal and moral values, and the historical perspectives about confrontation among the adherents of the three religions make this study a highly important share of social as well as religious domains. Moreover, abridging the gap between traditional perspectives and the contemporary modernist views about the comparative dimension of Judaism, Christianity and Islam is the worth-mentioning aspect of the research. Both analytical and descriptive methodologies of the research will be followed to carve out the lasting fruits of this knowledge-friendly effort.
